First Aid Beauty Banish Acne Skincare Set | 1 Week Later Review

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing with you my thoughts on some of First Aid Beauty’s acne skincare products. I bought these three products as part of a set from Ulta, however the set is no longer available. The individual products are though, so I will be reviewing each one individually!

I tested these three products together for one week, as well as used a few of my other skincare staples like Thayers Rose Toner, and Mario Badescu facial sprays. Keep on reading to hear about how they worked for me, as well as before and after photos!

Skin Rescue Acne Clearing Charcoal Cleanser

I like this cleanser a lot! It made my skin feel really smooth, and I did notice that it helped immediately with the texture of my pimples. I didn’t see a huge difference with my pores though. Overall, I like the cleanser and while I might not buy it again because it didn’t seem to help my acne all that much, I will use the rest of what’s in the bottle.

Skin Rescue Purifying Mask

I love a good peel-off mask, but omg this one sucks. It did make my pores look smaller a bit, and it did smooth out my face, however the pain and struggle I went through was not worth it at all.

The mask hurts so much coming off, and it’s also extremely hard to take off in one go. It broke off extremely easily, and it would take me 5-10 minutes just to get it all off my face. Also, I used it twice and it’s already almost gone. It felt as though the tube was only half full when I got it. Because of all of these issues, I don’t think that I will be buying the mask again.

Skin Rescue Acne Clearing Pads

This is my favorite thing in the set by far. I really like how it works on my skin, and I did notice the day after that my pimples were a lot smaller. The only downside to these is that the full-size cost is $30 on Ulta. I have heard really good things about Oxy’s acne wipes that are available at Walmart, and those are only $5. So overall, I probably wouldn’t buy these again because you can get ones that are most likely the same thing for a lot cheaper.

Before & After / Conclusion

This kit definitely helped to reduce the size of my pimples, however there are new ones that are still a decent size even after all the treatments I’ve been using. I was hoping that these products would help clear my pores and reduce the amount of acne I’ve been getting recently, and I don’t think that they’ve done that. I will most likely need to try these out for more than one week, however I don’t know if I will be repurchasing any of these products.

Aaand that’s my review! I hope you guys liked hearing what I think, and let me know if you’ve tried any of these products! If you have, then what did you think of them?
